Hey, I'm Yang Yang — an Engineering Science student at the University of Toronto, specializing in Electrical & Computer Engineering. I'm expected to graduate in 2028.
I'm interested in building things that sit at the intersection of software, hardware, and human interaction. From full-stack web apps and ML-powered tools to embedded systems and parametric modeling — I like working across the stack.
Right now, I'm doing undergraduate research at the Cognitive Engineering Lab at UofT, working on human-automation interaction. I'm also on the electrical team at UofT Formula Racing.
Outside of school and work, I like building things at hackathons — recently that's included a camera-based competitive hand game (67Ranked), an AI sports commentary system (WinterStream AI), and a solar-powered medical refrigerator designed for hospitals in Lagos.
Feel free to reach out — I'm always happy to chat about projects, research, or anything interesting.
